PERISHER XC TRAILS – 7-8 MAY WORK PARTY / ANNUAL CANBERRA SKI SALE / TRAINING JACKET

MAY WORK PARTY:

Winter is coming!  Join us in Perisher during the weekend of May 7- 8 for continuing trail maintenance, bridge work and some Nordic Shelter jobs.

If you like your track skiing, come up and help to get those trails ready for the first snow. Always good to get new people involved, and especially if you have not far to travel, being lucky enough to live locally. Come and enjoy the outdoors doing good things.    

If you need accommodation, Friday and/ or Saturday night, you can find it "free" for working bee members at Canberra Alpine Club (CAC) Perisher lodge. Contact Peter Cunningham at peter.petercunningham@gmail.com to book a bed. Bring bed linen, towels and food/drink for self-catering.

If you can make it, please RSVP by emailing Peter Ward at nswxc1@gmail.com. Even if you can only make one day, this would be of great help.

Meet at the Nordic Shelter at 9:00am for a 9:30 start. Wear work clothes, sturdy boots and bring work gloves and gumboots – be prepared for any weather. Bring food, drink and snacks, and also your own plates, cutlery and cups.

TRAINING JACKETS for NSWACT XC Supporters

Training Jackets, designed by our own Madi Hislop, are available for order for until 8 May 2022 through the NSWACT XC SUPPORTERS Podiumwear Store. The updated design, based on the Perisher topographic map, will be familiar to many.

Payment for the Supporters Jacket and an amount for shipping and administrative costs (unfortunately a major cost these days) is required at the time of purchase.  Prices are in USD. An additional amount for tax and any additional delivery costs will be payable on collection of the garment in Australia.
