CROSS COUNTRY SKI WEEK - 2023 (5th - 13th Aug)

XC Ski Week (2023) Notice Board

  • PXC Cup - A relaxed first up event where every body gets a prize,, yes everybody. Also some wacky out of season prizes for the heros who happen to finish at the front of the field, Be there to help kick off XC Ski Week in the right direction. 
  • Boonoona Race complete with a very relaxing, social and enjoyable presentations back at the Boonoona Ski Club from 5 pm
  • KAC Classic is on Monday, complete with with the presentations up at the Charlotte Pass Chalet , like the usual except its on Monday
  • Mystery Coffee Tours all happening, great coffee, snacks and maybe some other things (Tuesday & Friday)
  • Perisher Historical Society - Hello in the Snow - Drinks and fine food - 4 pm Tuesday (Marritz) 
  • Wednesday, just like the previous year's Monday, finishing with the fun and fast Nordic Shelter Twilight Relay
  • The Sundeck Cup, Cliff Wallis gives us a good time, all to help support our top skiers. 
  • Snowy Classic - Always a great multi-distance competition.
  • Ski Orienteering on the last Sunday
  • Be prepared to be flexible - weather and other influences may cause cancellations or changes in times and venues.

"End of XC Ski Week Presentations"

To be held at the Corroboree lodge starting at 2.45 pm after the Snowy Mountains Classic.

The more events you join in throughout the week the greater chance you have of winning prizes - be there to win.

  • The main prize draw for Skis, Bindings & Boots from Salomon ($1500-$2000) worth
  • Other great prizes from generous sponsors
  • The Clubs Competition - Bronze Ski and more - will be given out to the value of $1000 to the winning club
  • Many others prizes from Rhythm Snowsports, Wilderness Sports and others.

The PXC committee will be looking out for competitors who shine in one way or the other, not just the race winners. Come along and enjoy a drink and share your stories of the week with anyone who will listen, feel free to make something up maybe there might be a prize for the best Bad Luck story!

To Use the On-Line entering system within the event calendar below you have to be a member of Snow Australia. If you are entering in non-championship events e.g. tour races, come & try's etc, THIS IS FREE. Just click on Register - Snowracer - revolutioniseSPORT  and either REGISTER or RENEW. From there you will be able to get your SNOW ID number, User Name and Password for you to be able to enter events. If you are already a current member of Snow Australia, the below On-Line links will take you directly to the event you are looking to enter in.
