The wind howled yesterday morning, the snow drifted and the Nordic shelter access doors were dug out yet again. A problem but not a complaint. The skidoo and "Bluey" the track setter also needed to be dug free. Thanks to Alexi and Arnold who combined muscle power and know how for over an hour to get that job done.
Today is clear, light winds and the stars are shining; what a wonderful contrast.
The following trails were groomed overnight: Sprint, Valley, 2.5, and 3.5. Part of the 10km, to Paddy's link, up paddy's to 7km junction and back to the 5 km. The extensions of the 10, 7 and 5 were not groomed.

Huw Kingston has been a wonderful behind the scenes supporter of our XC squad training program and last year donated items for auction to support the Nordic shelter. He is still in New Zealand on his quest to raise funds for Save the Children. Go to Huw Kingston face book to see spectacular photos of his trip and search how to donate to such a worthy cause.
