The Perisher XC Centre Trails and Conditions Report

Thanks to John and Sonia for persuading the snow gods to work their magic and passing over a vista of white when Carol and I arrived to pick up the reins yesterday.
With the high winds yesterday there was considerable drifting even on the most recent of the tracks. Despite that the conditions were fantastic all around the course with good cover and the snow fences accumulating more for the team to get to work on. All trails were groomed overnight including Paddy's link and with some sunshine and slightly reduced winds promised then it should be another great day to ski.
This morning competitors will be flying round the inner trails as part of the Widernesse Sports Cup starting at 10am and there is a Biathlon Come and Try at 11am as well so if you are seeking solitude then further trails such as the 7.5km or 10km may suit better.

Sunday 13th July. 10:00am, Cooma open 10km (F)
Saturday 19th July. 9;30am, NSW Sprint Championships. (freestyle)
Sunday 20th July. 9:30am. ACT Distance Championships. (classical)
