The Perisher XC Centre Trails and Conditions Report

The wax box and the cobwebs were cleaned out. Thankyou to Cooma ski club and especially Bolt who ran the show so well.
A quieter day on the trails but very enjoyable with the 7.5 km trail re-opening and lots of track-setting and trail building overnight. Skiers were surprised, though, how quickly the holes and slumps return throughout the day.
Thankfully the predicted storm with thunder and lightning did not eventuate but rain and wet snow did occur for an hour or so. As a result of the extra moisture and temperatures well above freezing, there will be no Grooming of the trails for Monday. This report is being sent Sunday night and will lack the current weather conditions for Monday.
A big thank you to so many who enjoy using the Nordic Shelter and either tap the donation square or drop a donation into the Yellow Box or the Pink Pig.
