The Perisher XC Centre Trails and Conditions Report
Fri, Sep 5th, 2025 6:00 am

With 10cm of fresh snow last night, starry skies, no wind and a beautiful sunrise promising a spectacular day, it doesn't get any better.....or does it? With no traffic issues and everything groomed, maybe it does !

Huw Kingston sent a note from NZ. He is getting closer to finishing. Check on how to support his quest in the comments below.

"So good to see the cracking season back home. Big thanks for the various plugs for Alpine Odyssey Aotearoa. I see them on the Perisher XC report when I dare to look how good it is there!

Day 72 here and Laurence and I have reached Queenstown and will pedal up to skifields 17 and 18 in next few days - Coronet and Remarkables, with fresh snow incoming. We have some fundraising functions here and some much needed rest days. Missed the Merino Muster but all sounded a bit marginal (did see a pic of Peter W at it!) and we'll be at Snow Farm next week. Amazing trip so far with almost 4000km covered. Should be finished, in Christchurch now (long story!) at end September. Cheers Huw
