SMN Family Cup - An Amazing Amount of Fun!

The 2nd Annual Snowy Mountains Nordic Family Cup will be held on Saturday, 1 September 2018 at 11am. Below is key information you will require for a really fun day!

Event: Snowy Mountains Nordic Family Cup

When: Saturday 1 September 2018 at 11am 

Where: Nordic Shelter, Perisher Valley

Registration: from 9.30am in the Nordic Shelter.  

Event Particulars: 
 
* Entry is $10 per team of two, payable on the day.  

* Waiver forms will need to be completed when paying. 

* This is a team event.  Teams need to have some family connection (eg. mother & daughter, siblings, grandparent & grandchild, partners, friends)

Type of Competition:  This is a FUN event!  Competition will include fun challenges on XC skis. Competition is likely to include a flag race, snowball biathlon, uphill slalom etc.

Fancy Dress: Participants are encouraged to come in fancy dress. Final place allocations are determined not only on skiing ability but on fancy dress as well!  Last year we saw fairies, smurfs, hippies, vikings, and colour coordinated skiers to name a few!  Let your imaginations run wild!

Prizes: A wide variety of excellent prizes are on offer.  All prizes have been kindly donated by Snowy Mountain Nordic members. Plus the winning team will have their names written into history on the SMN Family Cup Shield!

Post Event Celebration: Please bring a plate/goodies to share for a post event morning tea. 

Event Updates:  Please check the grooming reports or the SMN Facebook page for event updates. If weather looks poor, we will postpone to another weekend. A decision will be made by Thursday evening.
