The Perisher XC Centre Trails and Conditions Report

Areas next to the shelter and up at Valhalla had another light groom last night with the rest of the trails left alone to wait snow forecast for the weekend - The road all the way up to Charlotte Pass provides an alternative while we wait for the main trails to fill up.
The Wilderness Sports Cup has been postponed until Tuesday July 14 due to the lack of snow on the trail system. There maybe a chance of enough snow falling over the coming weekend to prepare a course for the WSC on Tuesday 14th. The WSC is traditionally a warm up event for the NSWACT team and squad in preparation for the State Championships a week later. The team and squad members are currently attending the school holiday "on snow" training sessions. The WSC is not exclusive to the junior athletes, anyone is welcome to join in the fun. A decision will be made late Sunday/early Monday if it will be possible to hold the event.
