Wednesday evening up date:

A very pleasant day: no rain, light winds and sunshine. Great for those who were able to access the back country ski areas.

The skiable snow along the road after Spencer's creek bridge may be no longer. The word is; that the road into Charlotte pass will be cleared and decisions need to be made based on safety and traffic volumes if public access is allowed to Spencer's Creek. The main range still looks well covered, so a back country pass on the Kosi chair from Thredbo ($30) could be a good option. 

The squad is keeping active on the roller skis in Jindy so that is another option.

Don't forget the invite from the National Team. The organisers are requesting people commit ASAP and not wait until the deadline of 30th August.

The Nordic shelter will remain open and will be warm and welcoming to anyone who wants to come in just to be social or still enjoy a slide and glide on the remaining sections of snow.
